Kotaku brought the story last week that MTV, Harmonix, and Apple Corps. announced that the The Beatles Rock Band would be released on September 9th of this year. In case I hadn’t mentioned it anywhere before, The Beatles happen to be my favorite band of all time. Needless to say, it was an exciting day for me. Of course, I’m extremely interested to know what songs will be included on the disc, as well as what the new instruments will look and feel like. I, for one, agree with another of Kotaku’s articles that the Epiphone Casino would be an awesome replacement for the current Strat. I just hope that we get a nice selection of songs, unlike the limited choices in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. A nice selection of DLC to accompany the original game would be a huge bonus as well.
